Market Finance Lead (Medicare Advantage)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; preferred location is Louisiana. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required, with travel up to 10%.

Salary: $104,000–$143,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead a team analyzing value-based provider financial performance, membership, costs, utilization, contracts, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting for provider and contract performance, claims experience, medical cost drivers, risk adjustment, and market operations.
• Lead financial preparation for provider engagement sessions and advise Network Performance teams on contract results and improvement actions.
• Partner with regional leadership, actuarial, Corporate Finance, clinical, contracting, operations, sales, and value-based care providers.
• Support Medicare Advantage bid strategy, product positioning, financial projections, and competitive analytics.
• Align monthly accruals and financial close activities while addressing complex financial and operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience with Value Based Contracts or Value Based Providers and at least 3 years of financial analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience presenting financial strategies to senior leadership and managing cross-functional special projects.
• Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts; proficiency with PowerPoint, SQL, and Power BI.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% and work from a dedicated home workspace meeting PHI/HIPAA privacy requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• CPA certification and people management experience.
• Experience with Service Fund reporting, Power Query, Power Automate, or Hyperion Essbase.
• Experience with the Medicare Advantage bid process, product design, and competitive analysis.
