Commercial Finance Analyst (AI Analytics)

Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey, United States; four days on-site with remote work on Fridays. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $115,000–$144,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and maintain AI-enabled forecasting models and reporting for revenue, bookings, demand planning, and commercial performance.
• Build automated reporting solutions, KPI dashboards, and self-service analytics tools using Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Analytics, and related platforms.
• Apply AI, machine learning, generative AI, predictive modeling, and scenario planning to identify trends, risks, customer behaviors, and revenue opportunities.
• Partner with Technology and Data Engineering to develop scalable data pipelines and automate data collection, validation, planning, and reporting workflows.
• Provide analysis for forecasting cycles, annual operating plans, pricing, profitability, territory performance, incentive compensation, and strategic opportunities.
• Prepare executive reporting, operating reviews, Board materials, investor presentations, and recommendations for Commercial leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience building automated reporting solutions, interactive dashboards, predictive forecasting models, and decision-support tools.
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business-partnership skills.
• Ability to work on-site in South Plainfield, NJ four days per week, with remote work on Fridays.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Copilot, Azure AI Services, Microsoft Copilot, Databricks, Alteryx, Python, or R.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, OneStream, cloud data environments, data governance, data quality, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
• Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, or process improvement certification.
