Junior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Beavercreek, Ohio, United States; work from home is available, but onsite work at Wright Patterson AFB is expected at least once a week after obtaining a TS/SCI clearance.

What you will do

• Design and implement new capabilities for web-based tools.
• Resolve issues in existing software and improve usability.
• Integrate capabilities with external services and tools.
• Communicate project status and technical details to customers.
• Collaborate directly with customers to define and drive requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher, listed on the resume.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• 0–2 years of experience with frontend development using React or Angular.
• 0–2 years of experience with server-side languages such as Node.js or Python.
• Experience with version control software such as Git and the ability to communicate technical details and take ownership of project areas.

Nice to have

• Secret security clearance or higher.
• Experience with simulation frameworks such as AFSIM, ITASE, or NGTS.
• Experience with Docker, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Jenkins, JIRA, or RESTful web services.
