Full Stack Software Engineer I (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; the role involves working directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor.

Salary: $115,000–$173,000 USD annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build applications supporting design and manufacturing engineers across the company.
• Automate analysis of telemetry data streaming from test stands.
• Develop tools for supply chain management, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
• Create dashboards that provide real-time visibility into factory and production data.
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and continuously improve solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, materials, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and launch teams to understand workflows and automate manual processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, systems, and clean, testable code.
• At least 1 year of professional software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or substantial shipped projects.
• Experience building web applications with modern frameworks and languages.
• Ability to work across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
• Completed degree requirements and availability to begin full-time employment within 30–60 days of applying.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and large datasets.
• Exposure to manufacturing, hardware, test and measurement systems, or other physical-world domains.
• Experience building dashboards, data visualizations, or analytics tools.
• Open-source contributions or experience shipping software products end-to-end.
