Physical Therapist-Inpatient Rehab Registry Days

Location: 4201 Medical Center Dr., McHenry, Illinois, United States; onsite inpatient rehabilitation role. Part-time casual schedule with weekday and weekend coverage as needed; choose a commitment of 2 or 4 weekend shifts per month.

Salary: $52–$58 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct physical therapy care and manage patient plans of care from initial contact through discharge.
• Evaluate patients, select appropriate treatment modalities and equipment, perform re-evaluations, and adjust treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physical therapist assistants, physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and participate in committees, process improvement, departmental projects, and clinical education programs.
• Adapt treatment to special circumstances while maintaining safety, productivity, quality, and service standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to provide inpatient rehabilitation care, maintain complete clinical documentation, and collaborate across healthcare teams.
• Availability for scheduled weekday and weekend coverage, including 2 or 4 weekend shifts per month.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
