Senior Consultant (BudgetPro)

Location: Hybrid position based in the Atlanta, Georgia office, with attendance required three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The company also has an office in Oakville, Ontario.

What you will do

• Lead client engagements as a trusted advisor, maintaining communication and alignment across stakeholders.
• Analyze public sector budgeting workflows and business processes to identify optimization opportunities.
• Deliver advisory and project-based work through time-and-materials engagements, including post-implementation rollouts and broader optimization initiatives.
• Translate client needs into technical requirements and collaborate with development, reporting, and cross-functional teams on practical solutions.
• Provide product demonstrations, recommended approaches, and best-practice guidance for budgeting and organizational transformation.
• Track industry trends, budgeting practices, and evolving product capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in software development, implementations, consulting, or project management, with SME-level expertise in consulting, engagement management, and/or public sector budgeting.
• Strong listening, facilitation, consultative, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements with clarity, organization, and effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management foundations.
• Interest in AI-forward thinking and a creative, continuous-learning approach to problem solving.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or a similar credential.
• Experience with cloud-based software development and deployment.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
