What you will do

• Design, configure, test, deploy, and support Epic applications for clinical, revenue cycle, and operational workflows.
• Gather requirements, map current-state workflows, perform gap analyses, and maintain design and change-control documentation.
• Lead smaller implementation and upgrade projects using waterfall or agile approaches, coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Build and validate configurations, interfaces, reports, printing, testing environments, release moves, and downtime procedures.
• Support go-live and post-live operations, manage incidents and service requests, perform root-cause analysis, and meet SLAs.
• Develop CareConnect training curricula, maintain training environments, and improve end-user support and documentation.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work remotely from Ohio, United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, healthcare administration, or a related field; 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5–7 years of system analysis and support experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows, requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, ITIL, change control, SDLC, and project methodologies.
• Ability to communicate with clinical and operational stakeholders, managed service providers, and cross-functional teams while producing clear documentation.
• For the application training role: Epic Training Environment Build certification with 3+ years of experience and two Epic Application Principal Trainer certifications.

Nice to have

• Current Epic certification or proficiency in relevant modules and 3+ years of Epic build and configuration experience.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, interface testing, SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Radar, or Reporting Workbench.
• Leadership or supervisory experience and background in patient access, billing, coding, finance, or clinical operations.
• ITIL Foundation, additional Epic certifications, healthcare compliance knowledge, cloud platform experience, or business intelligence experience.
