Senior Business Controller - Marketing (m/f/d) (SaaS)

Location: Berlin, Germany; remote-friendly options are available, including temporary work from within the EU and UK for up to 3 months.

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasting and long-range planning for global marketing activities.
• Build financial models covering assumptions, business drivers, risks and variance analysis.
• Partner with business leaders on performance evaluation, investment decisions, strategic analyses and business cases.
• Translate financial and operational data into KPIs, insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue and Data teams in Berlin and New York to improve reporting quality and consistency.
• Simplify, standardise and automate recurring planning, reporting and finance processes.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis or a related field.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modelling and performance analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership in an international, fast-paced environment.
• Background in a B2C, digital product subscription or SaaS environment is preferred.
• Strong English skills are required; English is the operating language.
• Ability to connect financial and operational drivers to business decisions, communicate complex information clearly and improve reporting processes.
