Rehabilitation Services Tech/Admin Specialist (Split Locations)

Location: Split between the Wheaton and Naperville outpatient clinics in Illinois, United States

Salary: USD 17.05–22.17 per hour

What you will do

• Assist rehabilitation professionals with supervised patient-care activities that do not require therapist-level clinical decision-making.
• Prepare, operate, clean, and maintain rehabilitation equipment and related maintenance logs.
• Communicate with patients, families, therapists, and other departments about visits, care instructions, and observed changes in patient status.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient visits across Rehabilitation Services and satellite locations.
• Manage patient consents, authorizations, medical records, demographic and insurance information, and documentation workflows.
• Collect and post payments, close the daily cash drawer, coordinate insurance documentation, and manage clinic inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work across the Wheaton and Naperville outpatient clinics.
• Ability to follow infection-control, safety, documentation, and regulatory standards.
• Professional communication skills for working with patients, families, therapists, and clinical departments.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual communication skills.
