What you will do

• Prepare surgical operating suites with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies.
• Check the availability and functionality of surgical equipment and instruments.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to physicians during surgery and maintain accurate counts of instruments and supplies.
• Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory when required.
• Support additional projects, administrative tasks, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull with force up to 50 pounds.
• Work is performed in an in-person surgical care environment under RN supervision.
