Registered Nurse CDH PICU Part-time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States; night shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill pediatric patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct assistants involved in providing patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document patient responses, care plans, communications, and clinical outcomes in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Use research findings and other available evidence to guide nursing practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An ADN is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Successful completion of the required background check.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
