Registered Nurse, Occupational Health

Location: Burnsville, Minnesota, United States; onsite at a client health center. Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Salary: $35.20–$44.00 per hour

What you will do

• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within the nursing scope of practice.
• Provide evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate case management with third-party administrators and clients.
• Manage occupational health evaluations and comply with OSHA, DOT, CDC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Implement transitional duty and return-to-work programs, including follow-up care and accident investigations.
• Perform and document EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision screenings, medical tests, treatments, and emergency care.
• Maintain health records, medical equipment, infection control standards, and a safe clinical environment.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an Associate degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required; ACLS may be required depending on the contract scope.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in occupational health, emergency, or ambulatory care is required.
• Experience promoting safe and productive workplaces through hazard mitigation, health screenings, fitness-for-duty assessments, and return-to-work exams.

Nice to have

• Certification in Occupational Health, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
