Registered Nurse-Cath Lab & IR Full Time Days

Location: 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois, United States; onsite, day shift

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document diagnoses, goals, interventions, outcomes, and care-plan updates.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, including discharge planning and referrals.
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and available care resources.
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient conditions, deliver bedside handoffs, and maintain a safe care environment.
• Lead and support patient care technicians, participate in charge nurse and preceptor responsibilities, and mentor staff and students.
• Use clinical technology and electronic medical records while contributing to quality, safety, evidence-based practice, and process-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of employment.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Must comply with applicable Illinois nursing regulations, professional standards, and background-check requirements.

Nice to have

• National certification in the area of specialty.
