Licensed Nursing Assistant I - Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit - Full Time - Days

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; onsite day shift, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend commitment

Sign-on bonus: $3,000, paid at 3, 6, and 12 months.

What you will do

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal care, emotional support, and age-specific needs.
• Perform clinical tasks within the Licensed Nursing Assistant scope of practice.
• Observe and report symptoms, abnormalities, and changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Document care in designated areas of the medical record and maintain patient privacy.
• Apply infection prevention, universal precautions, safety procedures, and effective communication in a cardiac intermediate care environment.

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Nursing Assistant License required.
• At least two years of current acute-care experience required.
• Experience must demonstrate proficiency and in-depth knowledge of nursing practice at the clinical level.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS authorization preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a healthcare team.
