What you will do

• Assess patient and family health status and develop, implement, document, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide leadership in a professional nursing practice setting and collaborate with physicians, supervisors, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assign, delegate, supervise, and evaluate duties performed by RNs, LPNs, and support staff according to patient needs and staff competency.
• Monitor changes in patient condition, intervene appropriately, communicate concerns, and support patient safety initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, peer review, patient satisfaction, and professional development activities.
• Work rotating shifts with 24/7 coverage while meeting hospital attendance and time-management requirements.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania RN license or current multistate licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
• Certification in the relevant specialty.
• At least one year of travel nursing experience.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
