Clinical Nurse - Interventional Radiology Prep/Recovery Part-time Evenings (Interventional Radiology)

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States. Onsite part-time role with 2/10s shift rotation from 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.

Salary: $36.50–$58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based nursing care for assigned patients in interventional radiology prep and recovery.
• Assess patients, identify outcomes, plan and implement nursing interventions, and evaluate and document responses in the health record.
• Develop individualized, age-specific and culturally sensitive care and education plans for patients and families.
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, dignity, and patient-centered goals throughout care and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate and supervise interventions, and provide accurate handoffs.
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, quality improvement, policy development, and unit initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Analytical ability, effective oral, listening, and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a keyboard to enter and retrieve data.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
