Technical Program Manager - Data Enablement (Medtech)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States

Salary: $142,400–$213,600 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional data enablement programs across R&D, quality, regulatory, IT, commercial, hardware, and software teams.
• Own program scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting from concept through launch.
• Define data requirements, telemetry specifications, connectivity needs, and prioritized roadmaps for surgical capital products.
• Evaluate and manage technology vendors and partners delivering data, connectivity, and cloud services.
• Guide decisions on data storage and data flows, including latency, security, scalability, and bandwidth in operating-room environments.
• Apply analytics, visualization, statistical, and machine learning methods to device and clinical data while ensuring quality, privacy, regulatory, and cybersecurity compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical programs involving hardware, software, quality, schedules, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience delivering connected-device or IoT capabilities, including device-to-cloud data flows, telemetry, or connectivity services.
• Experience evaluating and managing third-party technology vendors, including scope and deliverable oversight.
• Experience translating business, clinical, or end-user needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Medical-device development experience, including design controls, phase-gate processes, FDA guidance, ISO 13485, or ISO 14971.
• Experience with surgical capital equipment, operating-room environments, hospital IT integration, HL7, FHIR, DICOM, or EHR/EMR systems.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, cloud-edge-local storage architectures, SQL/NoSQL, data lakes, or time-series data.
• Experience with data privacy and cybersecurity requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, UL 2900, or FDA premarket guidance.
• PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification.
