Operations Manager (Ecommerce)

Location: Belton, Missouri, USA; on-site fulfillment center role with weekend flexibility required and possible travel.

What you will do

• Lead inbound and outbound activities across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping on two shifts.
• Direct warehouse supervisors and Area Managers to meet fulfillment, shipment quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including warehouse misses, on-time shipments, shipment defects, aged tasks, hourly production, and cost per order line.
• Drive planning, forecasting, continuous improvement, and standard-process development across shifts and the fulfillment network.
• Mentor, train, and develop Area Managers while building collaboration with associates, carrier partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Use the site Warehouse Management System to optimize order fulfillment and improve operational insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or comparable experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment-center or warehouse operations.
• 4+ years of experience in receiving, inventory control, and/or order fulfillment, including managing large hourly workforces.
• Experience improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes.
• Strong project management, continuous improvement, communication, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends is required; the position may require travel.

Nice to have

• E-commerce or retail experience.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Green Belt certification or experience.
