What you will do

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies.
• Check the availability and functionality of surgical equipment and instruments.
• Prepare, transport, position, and drape patients for procedures.
• Pass instruments to physicians during surgery and maintain accurate counts of instruments and supplies.
• Receive and process surgical specimens for laboratory delivery when required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist within twelve months of hire.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Full-time, rotating-shift availability is required.
• Work is based at the Winfield, Illinois location.
