Principal Digital Architect - AI-Ready Data & Annotations (AI)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Irving, Texas office. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $159,120–$258,570 per year.

What you will do

• Define the enterprise framework and architecture standards for Physical AI-ready data products.
• Design reusable data objects, domain-oriented products, data contracts, and consumption interfaces.
• Establish standards for metadata, discoverability, quality, lineage, security, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate labeling, annotation, curation, evaluation, and feedback processes into data products.
• Design architecture for data platforms supporting telemetry, APIs, streaming data, simulation, and edge-to-cloud systems.
• Drive architectural consistency and provide technical direction across multiple engineering organizations.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in software engineering and architecture with a focus on data, typically 12+ years.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, domain modeling, canonical data models, data contracts, and metadata strategies.
• Experience with AI and machine learning data foundations, including training data, feature engineering, vector data, synthetic data, and model evaluation data.
• Experience designing cloud and on-premise data platforms and data products for massive data volumes and events.
• Knowledge of machine telemetry, sensor data, digital twins, simulation data, autonomous systems, and physical AI ecosystems.
• Understanding of Agile SDLC, public cloud environments, test automation, peer review, CI/CD, and resource optimization.
