Principal IT Solution Architect - NPI, Technical Integration (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Santa Clara, California, United States, with in-office work at headquarters 3 days per week.

Salary: $167,000–$270,500 per year, plus potential bonus and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Own L2 technical architecture for New Product Introductions across the full Opportunity-to-Cash lifecycle, including Salesforce CPQ, SAP, billing, licensing, and provisioning.
• Create formal business, data, application, and physical architecture artifacts for engineering implementation.
• Design scalable enterprise integrations, API contracts, interface specifications, and architecture-as-code practices.
• Apply LLMs and agentic frameworks to automate validations, data transformations, process orchestration, and contract testing.
• Map multi-system data flows and design validation and reconciliation patterns that preserve financial integrity.
• Lead technical design reviews, coordinate dependencies across IT teams, develop prototypes, and mentor NPI engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, integration architecture, or technical product development.
• Hands-on expertise with Quote-to-Cash and Opportunity-to-Cash lifecycles and Salesforce CRM/CPQ data models, APIs, triggers, and configuration scenarios.
• Strong experience with RESTful, GraphQL, and event-driven APIs, JSON/XML, database design, data modeling, and multi-system data flows.
• Ability to read, write, and debug Python, Java, Node.js, or Apex code and build working prototypes.
• Must work from the Santa Clara headquarters office 3 days per week; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, and agentic frameworks for enterprise process automation.
• Experience with SAP integration, billing, revenue recognition, and financial flows.
• Background in SaaS, subscription business models, cybersecurity, or enterprise software.
• Experience with FedRAMP, regulated environments, architecture-as-code, or mentoring engineering teams.
