Information & Data Architect (Medtech)

Location: Fridley, Minnesota, United States; office-based role with U.S. work authorization required.

Salary: $178,400–$267,600 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Define and maintain information architecture, business definitions, metadata standards, data dictionaries, and logical data models.
• Lead data discovery and requirements activities across engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, commercial, and product stakeholders.
• Establish standards for data ownership, stewardship, quality, lifecycle management, documentation, and traceability.
• Document data flows, integrations, dependencies, and information exchanges across digital health applications and enterprise systems.
• Partner with software engineering on architecture, governance, privacy, security, and integration requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain role-based access governance, data catalogs, ownership structures, metadata, and data quality monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 8+ years, or a PhD.
• Experience with software architecture, APIs, enterprise integrations, software development lifecycles, relational databases, SQL, and logical data modeling.
• Experience with data warehouses, analytics platforms, reporting solutions, or cloud-based data ecosystems.
• Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, master data management, data stewardship, and data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA software lifecycle processes, privacy regulations, quality management systems, RBAC, identity management, authentication, and authorization.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is limited to Principal-level roles and above.
