Podiatrist

Location: Mashpee, Massachusetts, United States; in-person support one day per month from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Salary: USD $190.00–$200.00 per hour.

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, a hirify.global company, provides medical support for the Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit.

What you will do

• Perform routine diabetic foot examinations.
• Debride nails, calluses, ulcerations, and other skin lesions.
• Treat foot infections and ulcerations with antibiotics.
• Diagnose and treat peripheral neuropathy and diabetes-related gait abnormalities.
• Prescribe and manage functional and accommodative orthoses, diabetic shoes, and inserts.
• Provide follow-up care, adjust footwear, address patient concerns, and prescribe replacements when needed.

Requirements

• Hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have at least five years of post-residency podiatry experience.
• Bring all equipment, materials, and supplies required for each podiatry visit.
