Senior Python Engineer (Python)

Location: Warsaw, hybrid

What you will do

• Develop managed PaaS services such as Database as a Service, Registry as a Service and MLOps as a Service.
• Integrate services with Kubernetes and deliver APIs, documentation and production-ready components.
• Design distributed, multi-tenant solutions for large-scale systems.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept, improve existing code and implement new components.
• Make technical decisions focused on security, scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Investigate complex issues across PaaS services, shared services and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Very strong Python skills and hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Solid knowledge of REST API design, including CRUD operations, error handling, data validation and versioning.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis persistence layers, including data modelling and migrations.
• Experience building distributed solutions for multi-tenant and large-scale environments.
• Kubernetes skills sufficient to deploy, configure and troubleshoot services independently.
• Confidence using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot and ownership of solutions from design through production.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Linux, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Async Python programming with asyncio and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines and observability practices including structured logging, metrics and distributed tracing.
• PostgreSQL performance analysis, query execution plans or full-stack engineering experience.
