Base pay: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the design of high-voltage battery pack components for commercial and defense aircraft programs.
• Collaborate with CAE, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Build, prototype, and test battery hardware throughout the design cycle.
• Support integration and certification activities to meet FAA requirements.
• Assist with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and battery hardware roadmap documentation.
• Apply battery design standards and contribute ideas for aerospace applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of mechanical design experience; battery, automotive, or aerospace internships and co-ops are relevant.
• Foundational knowledge of structural design, materials, heat transfer, fluids, and related engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with CAD, preferably NX, tolerance stack analysis, 2D drafting, and GD&T.
• Exposure to prototype or mass-production manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills, collaboration skills, and willingness to gain hands-on prototype experience.
