Software Engineer II (React/Node.js)

What you will do

• Design and implement software features and enhancements for store technology operations.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable, scalable applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews, and Agile delivery.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automation, DevOps, observability, and infrastructure engineering practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with managers, architects, QA engineers, and developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience with ReactJS and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, NPM, RESTful web services, unit testing, and testing frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, domain-driven design, and secure software development.
• Advanced experience with AWS, cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and platform engineering.
• Experience with services and tools including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS or Fargate, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Loki, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
