Senior Software Engineer (Promotions Platform)

What you will do

• Own the architecture and evolution of the Promotions Platform, ensuring resilience, performance, and high-traffic scalability.
• Design and develop scalable microservices for personalized offers, validation, and high-concurrency POS redemptions.
• Build end-to-end features with React and Node for user interfaces and backend services.
• Develop serverless and cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and related AWS services.
• Manage MongoDB data flows and real-time integrations using Kafka and Kinesis.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience developing large-scale, distributed, mission-critical applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree.
• Deep expertise in Node and React.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including serverless architectures.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, Kafka or Kinesis, event-driven integration patterns, dynamic programming, and algorithmic string processing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
