Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/Node.js)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel

CHEQ develops cybersecurity technology that provides Traffic, Threat, and Identity Intelligence for distinguishing legitimate users from malicious actors, including bots and AI agents.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and frontend web applications.
• Own features end-to-end, including database architecture, microservices, and user-facing applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define specifications and deliver technical solutions.
• Promote best practices in testing, performance, and security.
• Participate in on-call rotations and investigate and validate production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Node.js and React or Vue.js.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Consistent AI-first use of modern development tools across prototyping, architecture, testing, and debugging during the past two years.

Nice to have

• Backend experience with C# or Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Kubernetes, Grafana, or GitLab CI/CD.
