Airworthiness Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible, with availability to travel.

What you will do

• Lead and conduct certification approvals for Airbus products and product changes with the Primary Authority.
• Coordinate validation of approvals with authorities in importing countries.
• Act as the interface with airworthiness authorities for certification activities.
• Perform certification approvals under Airbus Design Organisation Approval privileges.
• Support individual aircraft acceptance by customers and their local authorities.
• Define and defend Airbus positions within the relevant certification forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; aerospace engineering is advantageous.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in engineering and airworthiness-related matters.
• Experience working with airworthiness authorities and/or customers.
• Technical experience in powerplant, communication systems or avionics, airframe structures, or general systems such as electrical systems and ECS.
• Advanced English and Spanish with oral fluency are required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and administration skills, together with problem-solving, critical-thinking, proactive, and teamwork abilities.
