Cockpit & Ground Control Systems Engineer (Avionics)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

hirify.global Defence and Space develops aerospace and defence systems, including cockpit displays, control systems, and ground control stations for manned and unmanned aircraft.

What you will do

• Analyze operational requirements and define systems architectures for cockpit and ground control station systems.
• Specify functional and equipment requirements and produce systems specifications.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including interface control documents, requirements documents, and test protocols.
• Develop high-level software specifications and manage supplier monitoring, qualification, and manufacturer activities.
• Integrate, validate, and verify avionics systems.
• Contribute to safety, security, certification, qualification, and service-support activities.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, preferably telecommunications, aerospace, or information technology engineering.
• 5–7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience in systems engineering, airworthiness, and certification processes.
• Experience with embedded software design and development.
• Advanced English and the ability to work in an international team.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Model-Based Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with avionics technologies and M&L and Derivatives projects.
