Aerodynamics Engineer (Military Derivatives)

What you will do

• Post-process and analyze aerodynamic data for performance, handling qualities, and loads in steady and unsteady flight modes.
• Generate comprehensive aerodynamic models and databases from experimental, flight test, and CFD data.
• Define, attend, and analyze wind tunnel test campaigns.
• Define, attend, and analyze flight tests, including steering flight tests.
• Make real-time decisions based on live telemetry data.
• Deliver optimized aerodynamic solutions and data within time, cost, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in aerodynamic characterization within the aerospace industry.
• Strong experience with numerical aerodynamic prediction tools and aerodynamic database generation.
• Experience working with experimental, flight test, and CFD data.
• Advanced English and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and transnational environment.

Nice to have

• Programming or scripting skills in Python and MATLAB for process automation and data analysis.
