A/C and System Safety Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible

What you will do

• Perform System Safety Assessment activities for military aircraft systems through development and certification.
• Examine system functions and classify failure conditions according to severity.
• Establish system safety requirements and evaluate architectures against safety objectives.
• Generate evidence for Airworthiness Authorities demonstrating compliance with system safety requirements.
• Perform Particular Risk, Zonal Safety, Common Mode, and other risk analyses supporting continuous airworthiness.
• Manage safety requirements and technical inputs across interacting systems, engineering domains, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Good knowledge and understanding of aircraft systems.
• System Safety Assessment experience, or System Engineering experience involving safety assessment, airworthiness, or certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Good level of English required.
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with safety tools such as Isograph FaultTree+.
