Maintenance Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Illescas, Spain; hybrid working model where possible.

What you will do

• Monitor industrial KPIs including technical availability, MTBF, and MTTR while coordinating with internal customers.
• Create and optimize maintenance plans and improve spare parts inventory efficiency.
• Manage maintenance budgets, external service suppliers, and supplier performance KPIs.
• Lead maintenance, continuous improvement, and sustainability projects from planning through delivery.
• Support new asset acquisitions by preparing technical specifications and evaluating technical offers.
• Ensure compliance with the European maintenance personnel qualification standard EN 15628:2014-10.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with industrial asset maintenance, vendor control, and asset lifecycle management in complex manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PLC and CNC programming.
• Practical experience with industrial asset safety.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Ability to adapt to new topics and business areas and collaborate effectively across networks.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing.
