Powerplant Integration Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model where possible.

What you will do

• Integrate engines, propellers, and powerplant subsystems, including ventilation, fuel, control, and lubrication systems, into the aircraft architecture.
• Define physical and functional powerplant interfaces while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, certification, and safety requirements.
• Support validation and verification through analysis, testing, inspections, and other substantiation methods.
• Analyze flight and ground test data and audit results, proposing technical modifications and design improvements.
• Investigate in-service anomalies and incidents and provide technical support for continuous airworthiness.
• Assess customer requests and modifications, including their technical impact, risks, and compliance with powerplant requirements.

Requirements

• Aeronautical Engineering degree, master’s degree, or related qualification.
• Initial professional experience in powerplant integration or related aircraft systems.
• Basic knowledge of powerplant integration tools and turboprop aircraft development cycles.
• Advanced English, fluent in writing and conversation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical risk-assessment skills.

Nice to have

• Previous hirify.global internship experience.
• Experience with verification and validation processes or continuous airworthiness.
