Calibration Technician (Scales & Balances)

Location: Quakertown, Pennsylvania, United States; field work at customer locations is required. The position is limited to U.S. Persons under ITAR export-control requirements.

What you will do

• Calibrate, repair, and install scales, balances, industrial printers, and related weighing equipment.
• Perform service work at customer facilities, including laboratories, clean rooms, pharmaceutical sites, manufacturing locations, and outdoor truck-scale facilities.
• Apply mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Assist senior technicians in the field and at the Precision Solutions facility while developing proficiency through training.
• Record service data accurately in the service-order software and follow quality, safety, regulatory, and calibration procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers and respond to emergency repair requests, including occasional nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Basic proficiency in electronic and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Valid CDL required or willingness to obtain a CDL when eligible.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and ability to learn custom software applications.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check and meet U.S. Persons eligibility requirements for ITAR-controlled information.
