Maintenance Technician - SLA

Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC, United States. This role is subject to U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.

hirify.global operates production and support equipment in a manufacturing environment, including additive manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations, installations, start-ups, and shutdowns for production and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate required machine downtime with supervisors and scheduling teams.
• Follow LOTO, OSHA, safety, quality, and maintenance documentation procedures.
• Partner with Engineering to improve equipment reliability and functionality.
• Design and build parts to improve machine performance.
• Design and execute experiments to identify the root causes of build failures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in mechanical, electrical, or related equipment maintenance.
• Ability to adjust work hours according to maintenance scheduling requirements.
• Ability to follow directions, work safely in a congested environment, and analyze data for problem resolution.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or foreign national granted refugee or asylee status. Temporary visa holders are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in an additive manufacturing environment.
• Two- or four-year degree focused on technical or engineering studies.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or related equipment maintenance.
