Location: Field-based role in the United States; must live within the assigned territory/geography. Listed locations include Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Raynham, Massachusetts. The role may require up to 75% domestic travel, overnight stays, and regular work in surgeon offices, hospitals, laboratories, and operating rooms.
Base pay: $96,000–$155,250 per year.

What you will do
- Drive sales, adoption, and awareness of digital spine, robotics, imaging, navigation, and minimally invasive surgery technologies.
- Lead prospecting, clinical demonstrations, advocacy efforts, regional tissue labs, product demonstrations, and surgeon engagements.
- Lead site installations, initial case support, hospital onboarding, and facility training for surgeons and operating-room staff.
- Build and maintain the regional sales pipeline, monitor utilization, support forecasts, and contribute to platform adoption and associated spinal implant sales.
- Partner with sales, commercial education, professional education, and area leadership teams to deliver field education programs and execute business plans.
- Support service and repair protocols, influence budgets, analyze data, and identify strategies to improve customer experience and platform proliferation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree/surgical technology or specialized medical certification with relevant experience, or at least eight years of orthopaedic spine sales experience; recently transitioned active-duty military candidates may also qualify.
- At least three years of spinal implant sales or equivalent orthopaedic capital robotics selling experience.
- Experience selling innovative medical devices and working in clinical, technical, and professional sales environments.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, with communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, presentation, business acumen, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Must live within the assigned U.S. territory, hold a valid driver’s license from one of the 50 states, and be able to work in hospital, laboratory, and operating-room environments.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 75% initially, including frequent overnight stays and limited weekend work.
Nice to have
- Five or more years of healthcare sales, hospital/operating-room, or medical-device clinical experience.
- Experience with spinal pathologies, spinal products, minimally invasive spine surgery, navigation, or capital enabling technologies.
- Technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
