Project Assembly Tech I (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation)

What you will do

• Install and test mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment using engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documents.
• Assemble and install piping systems, including alignment, leveling, squaring, and bolt-up of piping and spool runs.
• Install cable trays, conduits, clips, Unistrut, electrical cables, instruments, devices, and instrumentation tubing.
• Set and align structural assemblies, gas fuel filters, and vessels.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, jibs, rigging equipment, and overhead cranes to move and position workpieces.
• Follow documented procedures, maintain safe and defect-free operations, and flex across functions as business needs change.

Requirements

• At least one year of production-environment experience performing related assembly, installation, or testing work.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, cable, and tubing installation techniques.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to work first- and second-shift schedules.
• Ability to work overtime to support production demands.
• Successful completion of background, physical, and drug/alcohol screening is required before employment.

Nice to have

• One to three years of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, or pipe assembly experience.
• Completion of a technical vocational program of at least nine months.
• Leadership experience and strong communication, teamwork, safety, and quality focus.
