Manager – Projects Surface Processing Infrastructure (Mining)

Location: Haile Gold Mine, South Carolina, United States; onsite work in office, operational processing plant, infrastructure, and construction areas

What you will do

• Lead the safe delivery of the Paste Plant, Leach Circuit upgrade, and associated surface processing infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, operational readiness, and close-out.
• Develop project execution plans and maintain controls for scope, schedule, cost, procurement, change, risk, quality, and progress.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, vendors, internal project resources, and operational stakeholders.
• Review designs and technical work packages, resolving complex interface and constructability issues.
• Lead handover planning, documentation, training, commissioning support, and transition to operational ownership.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role delivering large projects.
• Previous management experience and demonstrated delivery of projects from inception through construction, commissioning, and close-out.
• Experience with surface processing infrastructure, project development, project controls, scheduling, cost management, procurement, contracts, quality, and risk.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in office and operational processing plant environments, access active construction areas, navigate uneven terrain and elevated work areas, and wear required PPE; a valid driver’s license is required.
