Senior Software Engineering Lead (Technical Lead / Solution Lead)

Location: Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work model combining home office and office work.

What you will do

• Lead the adoption and evolution of AI-Driven Software Development Lifecycle practices across software engineering teams.
• Define engineering strategies using AI to improve developer productivity, code quality, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Design, develop, and deliver scalable backend and frontend software solutions.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into coding, testing, documentation, code review, deployment, operations, and support workflows.
• Establish modern practices covering architecture, modular design, automated testing, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and platform engineering.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-team guidance without direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant software engineering experience with a strong hands-on coding background.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with frontend frameworks such as React.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, testing automation, backend systems, APIs, and system design.
• Ability to define technical specifications for complex solutions and influence multiple engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience using AI or GenAI tools in a corporate environment.
• Experience applying AI to improve software development workflows.
