Data and AI Software Engineer Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Build full-stack applications and platform services across the OneMesh ecosystem using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python with FastAPI.
• Design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs for discovering and managing data and AI capabilities.
• Implement AI and GenAI application patterns, including LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS using GitOps and Terraform.
• Implement security controls, audit logging, health checks, metrics, alerting, and other production-readiness practices.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with data engineers, ML practitioners, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience building software products, backend systems, platform services, or cloud-native applications.
• Strong command of Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Python with FastAPI, Terraform, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AWS services, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redis, message brokering, GitHub Actions, and GenAI or LLM application patterns.
• Versatile, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
