PG&A Sourcing Lead (Service Parts)

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, USA; hybrid office environment with at least 3 days in the office per week. Up to 10% travel to PG&A warehouses, suppliers, and dealers.

Salary: $75,000–$99,000 per year for Minnesota.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure service-part availability and support post-sales customer demand.
• Manage supplier relationships, capabilities, capacity, delivery, quality, corrective actions, and performance improvement.
• Lead quoting events, supplier selections, sourcing projects, supplier transitions, and tooling transitions.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, long-term agreements, commercial terms, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Analyze costs, pricing discrepancies, commodity markets, supplier risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and supply-chain resilience.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Inventory Planning, Production Sourcing, suppliers, and operations leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a technical field.
• At least 2 years of sourcing or related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of supply contracts with domestic and international suppliers and commodity markets.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, manufacturing process control, technical data, project management tools, and presentation development.
• Strong strategic planning, risk identification, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of MAPICS MRP and web-based business systems is desired.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
