Defense Sales Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Own the US FMS and security cooperation pipeline, from sourcing to closing partner-nation opportunities.
• Guide partners through formal requirements, Letters of Request, and Letters of Offer and Acceptance.
• Develop funding and approval strategies using FMS, DCS, BPC, or FMF pathways.
• Collaborate with internal legal, engineering, and program teams to resolve exportability and licensing issues.
• Manage decision-makers and unblock stalled cases by identifying and addressing real constraints.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX for this on-site role.
• Proven experience in international defense business, specifically in FMS and security cooperation.
• Deep knowledge of ITAR, export controls, and foreign supplier onboarding.
• Strong academic background in a technical or business field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse stakeholders including legal, engineering, and government officials.
• Willingness to travel as required by specific cases.
