Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Tel Aviv District, Israel; hybrid model with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the North Tel Aviv offices.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, high-performance event-driven microservices for high-volume financial workflows.
• Own critical systems for virtual and physical account balances, internal funds transfers, and bank reconciliation.
• Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture for systems built to perform under load.
• Apply spec-driven development, SOLID principles, proven design patterns, and strong unit and integration testing.
• Improve production quality, observability, reliability, and engineering standards while mentoring engineers.
• Use AI tools across system design, coding, testing, and code review to improve development speed and quality.

Requirements

• Senior backend experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with relational and document databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience building event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, automated testing, and scalable system architecture.
• Active, hands-on use of AI coding tools and AI-driven development workflows.
• BSc in computer science or equivalent, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Redis.
• Frontend experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript.
