Senior Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global develops a Human Data platform for reinforcement learning, coding, STEM, and model-evaluation workflows.

What you will do

• Design, launch, and harden reliable evaluation environments for RL, coding, STEM, and related evaluations.
• Lead platform development for project pipelines from briefs through tasks, quality control, and delivery.
• Build coherent project taxonomies as domains and clients expand.
• Develop administrative workflows for payments, payouts, task approval and rejection, RBAC, and role management.
• Provide practical visibility into project revenue and costs.
• Set technical direction, prioritize platform work, and improve system instrumentation and operability.

Requirements

• Senior software engineering experience with 4+ years or equivalent ownership.
• Backend or full-stack experience owning a production web product and its supporting services.
• Experience owning a multi-sided platform serving operators, contributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with human data, RLHF, labeling, model evaluation, evaluation harnesses, annotation pipelines, or coding and STEM evaluation environments.
• Experience shipping administrative or back-office workflows involving approvals, permissions, payments, payouts, or operational metrics.
• Fluent English required; the role is remote in LatAm or the US.

Nice to have

• Experience orchestrating environments with containers, workers, or sandboxes.
• Experience at or adjacent to Scale AI, Surge, Handshake AI, Labelbox, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with modern web and data stacks.
• Spanish language skills.
