Senior Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global develops a cloud compliance platform that connects tax and technology, processing customer API calls and tax returns at large scale.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable ingestion services for tax and returns data.
• Develop APIs, data-processing systems, automation strategies, and operational tooling.
• Improve platform scalability, resiliency, observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Accelerate onboarding of new data sources and filing workflows while improving accuracy and SLA attainment.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering and generative AI to validation, anomaly detection, operational intelligence, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, architecture input, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, operations, and platform teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade backend systems and distributed platforms.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET, scalable APIs, ingestion pipelines, data processing, CI/CD, automated testing, secure development, and reliability engineering.
• Experience operating AWS workloads, including networking, IAM, observability, security, and cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and generative AI technologies such as OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, or Hugging Face.
• Practical knowledge of prompt design, token optimization, rate limiting, evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, data privacy, security, governance, and production reliability.
