Senior AI .NET Developer (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas or Southlake, Texas

Salary: $70–$72 per hour

What you will do

• Lead AI-focused workflows across the software development life cycle.
• Build and deploy intelligent systems for complex financial domains and high-volume transaction environments.
• Use GenAI coding assistants for implementation, refactoring, testing, code reviews, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Establish effective team practices for agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering.
• Modernize legacy platforms into cloud-native distributed systems using .NET, microservices, containers, and APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and adjacent teams while leading other engineers.

Requirements

• Hybrid presence in Austin or Southlake, Texas is required.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, cloud-native development, and web services or APIs.
• 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML implementation and production deployment experience, including large language models such as GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, or PaLM.
• 6+ years of experience with cloud containers, microservices, and CI/CD.
• 2+ years of experience with PCF, AWS, or GCP, and with MongoDB, Aerospike, or PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; broker-dealer domain knowledge and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, financial services, test-driven development, QA automation, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Visio, architectural documentation, technical specifications, Jira, and Confluence.
