Category Buyer (Technology Services)

Location: Sosnowiec, Poland; onsite five days per week. The role includes up to 20% travel.

Salary: Gross PLN 18,468–23,084 per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing, buying, contracting, and spend analytics for global Technology Services initiatives.
• Manage regional supplier relationships, performance, costs, risks, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate master agreements, statements of work, service-level agreements, order forms, amendments, and other supplier contracts.
• Develop and execute category and supply-base strategies using spend analysis, market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, and business requirements.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, Vendor Management, and business-unit stakeholders on sourcing, risk, continuity, and supplier decisions.
• Mentor Buyers and Purchasing Analysts where assigned and support cost, quality, and total-cost-of-ownership improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Purchasing/Supply Chain, Law, IT, or equivalent sourcing and purchasing experience.
• Experience buying Technology Services, including IT professional services, software, SaaS, telecoms, or telematics.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts, statements of work, service agreements, order forms, amendments, and commercial terms.
• Understanding of supplier commercial models, licensing and subscription structures, service-level agreements, KPIs, IT solutions, and project lifecycles.
• Ability to work confidently with IT, Legal, Finance, Vendor Management, and business-unit stakeholders.
• Fluent English is required, and applications must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
• Advanced negotiation, contract management, supplier performance management, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of digital delivery models, vendor management, and emerging technology trends.
