Application System Analyst Senior - HIM

Location: Irving, Texas, United States. Onsite role at the CHRISTUS System Office; may require travel and additional hours during critical problems.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, configure, test, document, implement, support, and optimize assigned healthcare applications and business processes.
• Lead quality assurance and complex integrated testing initiatives, including test planning and project coordination.
• Analyze requirements, workflows, process maps, dependencies, gaps, and cross-application recommendations for medium- to high-complexity projects.
• Serve as a liaison among end users, operational leaders, technical teams, internal IT, and vendors to resolve issues and deliver application changes.
• Manage medium to large-scale projects and requests, coordinate vendor and infrastructure changes, and maintain change-control standards.
• Provide user and peer education, prepare status reports and documentation, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, with the ability to work independently on complex application tasks and projects.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or information systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, organizational, communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• For Epic analysts: assigned Epic module certification or proficiency must be obtained within 6 months and maintained through required version training.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications in the assigned area of focus.
• Ability to present complex data using meaningful charts and graphs.
