Epic Analyst - HIM in Irving, TX

What you will do

• Analyze, design, configure, test, document, implement, support, and optimize assigned Epic applications, solutions, and business processes.
• Analyze workflows, requirements, stakeholder needs, and gaps to deliver cross-team solutions and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderate incidents and service requests, escalating issues when vendor action or service-level commitments are not met.
• Coordinate system changes with vendors and technical teams while following approval, testing, validation, and change-management standards.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and end-user communities to standardize workflows, improve usability, and support application enhancements.
• Provide project oversight, status reporting, user education, documentation, and guidance to newer team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or information systems preferred.
• Detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Certification or proficiency in the assigned Epic module must be obtained within 6 months of employment and maintained through required version training.
